The 2012 Asian Gaelic Games took place in Kuala Lumpur, for the first time ever, over the weekend of the 27th and 28th of October at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Club. Organized on behalf of the Orang Éire football club by a special committee setup to run the games, everything appeared to run perfectly over the whole weekend. For the first time ever, Kuala Lumpur will be holding the Asian Gaelic Games next weekend on the 27 & 28th of October. This is a free event that will be held at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort. Over 800 athletes, 65 teams from all over the Middle East and Asia, 180 games of Gaelic Football, Hurling & Camogie will be played on 6 pitches. In a little under 2 months, the Fexco Asian Gaelic Games 2012 will be held in Kuala Lumpur at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort over the 27th & 28th of October. There will be 6 playing fields in use over the weekend, as well as a grand stand, which overlooks 5 of the pitches, with seating for 350 spectators. There will be almost 200 games to be played over the 2 days, including Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie and all games will be played at intervals
